Valentine's Day | My personal love story: It started with a kiss...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Of course we should show our love every day, but I think it's nice to have a day dedicated to love.

This is what I found on the table when I came home:

I am so happy! And my dear even said to me, for him every day is like Valentines Day! This is so sweet!

So, as a "special blog post" I thought this day might be a nice opportunity to share my personal love story of how I met my husband with you.

It was 5 years ago, the weekend before Valentine's Day.
At this time I was 16 and never had a boyfriend before, simply because I had zero self confidence.
My best friend had a Chinese boyfriend at that time and she kept telling me about his friend all the time, how cool he is, that he plays guitar and that I would really like him.

I didn't consider to meet her boyfriend's friend, because I was thinking: If he's really that great, there's no way he would actually like me anyway.

And then, on the weekend before Valentine's Day, my best friend sent me a text message:
"You know what? I will give you a boyfriend as Valentine's Day present. ♥"

I knew who she meant, but I guess I didn't believe she would actually go through with this!

Then, one day before Valentine's Day, she told me, that she gave my mobile number to that guy!
She didn't ask for my permission, but this is probably the best thing that ever happened to me!

I received his first message on the same day.

He was Chinese and his name was Xin. That means "heart".

We texted every day, and of course he gratulated me on Valentine's Day, too!
When he texted me when I was at school, even if it was nothing special yet, my friends noticed that I looked incredibly happy and smiled the whole day.

The first time we met, we both brought our friends and I was too shy  to talk to him...
My friend didn't lie: He was tall and handsome and nice. He couldn't stay with us for long time, but he hugged me before he left! I must have been so nervous!

I think the first time we actually "flirted" was at the begin of summer.
I got a phone call from an unknown number, so I didn't answer it. I had absolutely no idea who called me, so I sent Xin a message and asked, if it was him.

He replied: "It wasn't me... maybe someone who loves you?"
I wrote: "No way! No one loves me. T_T"
And he replied: "Nonsense, I love you! :)"

Even if it was half fun, I was so happy! I was smiling the whole day!

We couldn't meet often because of his exams, and then, at the end of summer, he went to China for 2 months.

I still sent him text messages almost every day, but he never replied. This was so hard for me...
Months later I found out, that he didn't get my messages and thought I never sent him any, and I didn't get his messages either... so basically it was a terrible misunderstanding and we lost contact after he returned to Germany, which made me horribly sad.

In winter, on christmas eve, I sent him a message. I thought maybe at least we can stay friends.
I wished him marry christmas, and Xin replied, wishing me the same and asked me if I want to celebrate New Year's eve with him at a Chinese restaurant (it was a party with many people).

After thinking about it I said yes.

On Near's Eve my best friend and I went to the restaurant, where Xin was already waiting for us.
He hugged me and my friend looked at him very evil, because she was mad at him because of me.

I really didn't expect anything to happen at that night and thought, he didn't like me that much...
But the evening Xin was super nice to me, introduced me to his friends and spent the most time by my side...

Then, when we were alone, he told me he would still love to be my boyfriend and asked if he could kiss me at midnight!

I was shocked and confused and my heart almost exploded!
Of course, I still loved him, but it was too sudden, so I said "I'm not sure, I can't decide this right now... please give me some time."

But there was no time. Before we could talk about this, it was midnight.
Everyone on our table got up and we raised our glasses to welcome the new year.

After putting my glass on the table again, I looked at Xin next to me, wondering what he would do...
He put his glass down, grapped my arm, pulled me towards him and kissed me! My first kiss!!

From that moment on I had no doubts anymore and we were a couple!
We went outside and watched the fireworks while hugging each other.

Now we're happily married and I don't cae about other men, because there is no one better for me than him!

That was one long entry, but I've mostly written the story for myself, because I like to remember it, and also people have asked me how we met, so yeah... now you know. :)

Have a nice day, bye bye!

New lashes: WHO'S "DOLLY"

Yesterday my new lashes arrived!

I bought dolly wink no. 1 and who's "Dolly". I wantred to try the ones from who's because they look just like the dolly winks, but they cost the same but there are 5 pairs in the box!

Here they are:

You can see they look almost the same.

And here is a photo of my eye, waering the who's lashes:

They are very comfortable and easy to put on!
They are a little more unnatural looking than dolly wink no.1, but I like them!

Here are more photos of me:

And one with my lovely arpakasso plushie:

My hair is so short now. I have no idea how to style it...

Bye bye!

Annoying hairdressers

Yesterday I went to the hairdresser with my friend because I needed to get my bans cut and I wanted to dye my hair. I thought "Finally I can have milk tea brown hair!", because I expected that a hairdresser could easily dye my hair this color... But obviously I was wrong!

Stupid Germany hairdresser didn't even know what I meant when I described the color I wanted as a "light beige brown". She had absolutely no idea what I wanted!
We went to a book with their hair colors and there was no shade that was even close to milk tea brown wtf.
So I went for a very light blonde, because my husband said he likes it... I hope later I can convince him that milk tea brown is way cuter and more suitable for my skin tone.
And then I will bring a picture to the hairdresser next time with the color I want...

My internet is so slow at the moment, I can't even post photos because it takes hours to load them!
Next time I am at my parents' place I will use their PC and maybe write another blog entry...

Oh, and at the end of this month I want to buy an iPad!
I'm really excited!! Just not sure if I should get the black or white one.

I hope I can blog again soon... it sucks to have only slow internet!

Baibai!
