My parents in law will be here in only one week! So excited!

It's currently very hot in Germany. I don't feel like doing anything because the heat is killing me. ε=( ̄。 ̄;)

Yesterday we got up early and drove our roommate Yi to Berlin airport because she'll be in China for one month. At the airport we took a rest at Starbucks, which was my first time being there! I had the Cococnut chocolate cream frappuccino:

The cake was Yi's by the way haha.

I think the price was 4,30 Euro but it was really yummy and I think 500ml! So it's rather expensive, but you get quiete a lot for that price, too!

After Yi got on her plane, we went to an Asia supermarket before driving back home, because they have things that we can't buy in our town., for example different kinds of 饺子 (dumplings). We bought 3 bags of them, 2 of them were with spinach, they are one of my favourites! (●⌒∇⌒●) And we ate them as soon as we arrived home haha. I also bought taro mochi for my best friend because she loves taro bubble tea and I thought she would be happy if I buy them for her. ♪

These things were also very cute:

Hello Kitty marshmallows! Love candy with cute packaging!

Mini mochi! I've never seen them before, they are like reaaaaally tiny. I wonder if they really have a filling? They were available in different flavours, like lychee, mango and blueberry. Next time I shall try them! (○゚ε^○)

So that's how my day was! And now I'm getting ready to go out with my friends.

See you~~(*^ワ^*)

It was such a great and exciting game!! And we were so happy that Germany won! ^^

Anger and love

I think I've never hated someone like this in my whole life so far.I'm shivering and my chest is almost exploding from my heartbeat...

How can someone be so cruel, trying to mess up other people's friendship because they can't face their own mistakes? She doesn't even see what she's done wrong. Now she's spamming my best friend with messages telling her I'm backstabbing, lying and a bad friend. But this wasn't even about me, it was about her. But not one time she mentioned that she really made mistakes, not once did she apologize (not that this would make a difference to me now), thinking she is the victim.

I can't say how happy I am that my best friend is by my side. She truly is one of the best things that ever happened in my life. Without her I wouldn't even know Xin. She has always been there for me, even in times when we were angry about each other.
And each hard time we went through together, let us become a little closer. And now I think our friendship has reached a point where we don't have to be afraid of telling each other everything, no, we can trust each other blindly. It doesn't matter when I move to another city this year - she always will be my best friend! Nothing will ever be between us again!
I am very thankful for that.

And I will do my best to be a better friend, too.

P.S: My oral exam wasn't today, it'll be next Tuesday! Phew!

2 photos of me and personal stuff

Today we picked up our new car and on Friday we can finally drive it kk. So excited!
Cannot take photos tho because it has been raining all day. :/

Today I had to study because tomorrow is supposed to be my first oral exam. They officially start next week but mine should be tomorrow. Problem: They said "Just look on our website, the exact date will be there!" but I looked and it doesn't say anything about my exam!
I will go to school tomorrow and ask when it is, but I actually hope it will be next week haha. We'll see. >_<

Yesterday I already blogged about someone who is seriously annoying me at the moment and today I'm even angrier. Turns out this person talked behind the backs of my my friend. I already supposed this would happen, but I'm still very angry. Especially after saying "I would NEVER talk shit about my friends!"
I lol'ed.

Anyway~ Here are two new photos of me if you haven't seen them already. :)

The second photo looks veeeeery edited because of the crazy filter, haha but I like the effect! :D

I try to look more ulzzang-ish at the moment, because it's more natural.
I don't know how ulzzang a white girl can look, but I try my best. >_<
And even if it's not exactly ulzzang-looking I like this look very much for myself! ^^

Well... I'm gonna call my best friend and continue studying, see you! <3

Angry right now!

I'm really angry today, because some guys in my class are really annoying and mean. I don't care anymore if they talk shit about me, but recently they started to make jokes about my Chinese husband, and they don't stop.

It hurts so much when they make their nasty jokes, because Xin is the last person who deserves it! And most Chinese people I met are really nice and would never say things like that. And why, WHY are you saying these dumb things about the man I love? You say it's fun, but to me it's not. I have to deal with this too often! Why are people so intolerant and respectless?

By the way, real men would never hurt girls, no matter if they like them or not. I hate "men" like you, you are nothing but disgusting. My husband is taller than you, more handsome than you, earns more money than you, is smarter than you, and he is open-minded. I should feel pity for you, because you are so bitter and will spend your life without seeing foreign cultures and meeting different people, because you are too closed-minded to accept and respect others.

I am happily married and traveled to the other side of the world. So what did you reach in life so far?

Can't wait to move to another town where people are more tolerant. It's really difficult where I live. Foreigners in China are treated so nice, and here? I never liked white men to be my boyfriend, so what? Why is it so unbelievable that my husband is Chinese? To me, there is no one more handsome and better than him. Is that so hard to understand?

I don't hate German guys, I just mean I never wanted to date one! Plus I'm really angry right now. Fortunately I'll go to the doctor tomorrow and will stay home for the rest of this week!

Review: SKIN FOOD Facial Water Vita-C Cream

Today I finally got the April issue of Popteen and the SKIN FOOD Facial Water Vita-C Cream!

I wanted to try a face cream that isn't thick and heavy, because it feels too uncomfortable in summer time. And after reading some reviews, I chose this one! SKIN FOOD is a popular Korean brand and many Koreans seem to have flawless skin, so their skin care must be awesome, right? ;)

The cream is white and has a light, fruity smell (but not really raspberry as you might think when you see the label in the cream).
The texture is really light and creamy. It feels refreshing and the skin absorbs the cream fastly without feeling sticky or something! The skin feels soft and moisturized after using the cream.
I like the cream very much and recommend it especially for spring and summer!

Btw, yesterday my husband, me, and some friends went to the amusement park because I got coupons at school for it!

It was soooo funny! I love amusement parks! Here is a photo of my friend Yi and me:

Valentine's Day | My personal love story: It started with a kiss...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Of course we should show our love every day, but I think it's nice to have a day dedicated to love.

This is what I found on the table when I came home:

I am so happy! And my dear even said to me, for him every day is like Valentines Day! This is so sweet!

So, as a "special blog post" I thought this day might be a nice opportunity to share my personal love story of how I met my husband with you.

It was 5 years ago, the weekend before Valentine's Day.
At this time I was 16 and never had a boyfriend before, simply because I had zero self confidence.
My best friend had a Chinese boyfriend at that time and she kept telling me about his friend all the time, how cool he is, that he plays guitar and that I would really like him.

I didn't consider to meet her boyfriend's friend, because I was thinking: If he's really that great, there's no way he would actually like me anyway.

And then, on the weekend before Valentine's Day, my best friend sent me a text message:
"You know what? I will give you a boyfriend as Valentine's Day present. ♥"

I knew who she meant, but I guess I didn't believe she would actually go through with this!

Then, one day before Valentine's Day, she told me, that she gave my mobile number to that guy!
She didn't ask for my permission, but this is probably the best thing that ever happened to me!

I received his first message on the same day.

He was Chinese and his name was Xin. That means "heart".

We texted every day, and of course he gratulated me on Valentine's Day, too!
When he texted me when I was at school, even if it was nothing special yet, my friends noticed that I looked incredibly happy and smiled the whole day.

The first time we met, we both brought our friends and I was too shy  to talk to him...
My friend didn't lie: He was tall and handsome and nice. He couldn't stay with us for long time, but he hugged me before he left! I must have been so nervous!

I think the first time we actually "flirted" was at the begin of summer.
I got a phone call from an unknown number, so I didn't answer it. I had absolutely no idea who called me, so I sent Xin a message and asked, if it was him.

He replied: "It wasn't me... maybe someone who loves you?"
I wrote: "No way! No one loves me. T_T"
And he replied: "Nonsense, I love you! :)"

Even if it was half fun, I was so happy! I was smiling the whole day!

We couldn't meet often because of his exams, and then, at the end of summer, he went to China for 2 months.

I still sent him text messages almost every day, but he never replied. This was so hard for me...
Months later I found out, that he didn't get my messages and thought I never sent him any, and I didn't get his messages either... so basically it was a terrible misunderstanding and we lost contact after he returned to Germany, which made me horribly sad.

In winter, on christmas eve, I sent him a message. I thought maybe at least we can stay friends.
I wished him marry christmas, and Xin replied, wishing me the same and asked me if I want to celebrate New Year's eve with him at a Chinese restaurant (it was a party with many people).

After thinking about it I said yes.

On Near's Eve my best friend and I went to the restaurant, where Xin was already waiting for us.
He hugged me and my friend looked at him very evil, because she was mad at him because of me.

I really didn't expect anything to happen at that night and thought, he didn't like me that much...
But the evening Xin was super nice to me, introduced me to his friends and spent the most time by my side...

Xin with my friend's Nintendo ds :)
Then, when we were alone, he told me he would still love to be my boyfriend and asked if he could kiss me at midnight!

I was shocked and confused and my heart almost exploded!
Of course, I still loved him, but it was too sudden, so I said "I'm not sure, I can't decide this right now... please give me some time."

But there was no time. Before we could talk about this, it was midnight.
Everyone on our table got up and we raised our glasses to welcome the new year.

After putting my glass on the table again, I looked at Xin next to me, wondering what he would do...
He put his glass down, grapped my arm, pulled me towards him and kissed me! My first kiss!!

From that moment on I had no doubts anymore and we were a couple!
We went outside and watched the fireworks while hugging each other.

(old photo)

Now we're happily married and I don't cae about other men, because there is no one better for me than him!

That was one long entry, but I've mostly written the story for myself, because I like to remember it, and also people have asked me how we met, so yeah... now you know. :)

Have a nice day, bye bye!

Our wedding in China ♡

Xin and I were in Taiyuan for about 3 weeks to visit his family and celebrate our wedding in his hometown.
We got married in Germany before, but we decided to have another wedding in China later, so his family can be there, too.

Our Chinese wedding was on December 31th 2011.

In the morning we got dressed. My mother-in-law and some other women from Xin's family helped me to put on my white wedding dress. When I was finished, Xin tried to open the door to take me outside, but the women wouldn't let him in and he had to beg for them to let him open the door. This is a Chinese tradition, which means that the women of my family (my family wasn't there, so his mom and aunt etc. did it) don't want him to take me away from them.
After he got in, he got on his knees in front of me and asked if I would come with him. I said yes and we walked out happily, where some people threw confetti for us.

Then someone drove us to the restaurant, which they put a huge inflatable archway in front of with our names on it. They also put up a big poster of Xin and me inside of the restaurant.

Xin and I had to wait in the hall to greet our 65 guests, chat with them and take photos.

After everyone was there, I had to changed my outfit to a red dress for eating.
Then we drank and ate with the guests.

Some of them even prepared a little game for Xin and me:
They held an apple on a thread and we both had to bite it with the hands on our back, so when we failed to bite it we would accidently kiss each other...

It was a beautiful wedding and I felt really happy that Xins family accepts me and treats me super nice!

Our wedding photos were taken by VSheying photography, who are specialized on K-dorama-inspired photo shoots. The photos turned out really beautiful! Here are some of my favourites:

I love the photos! And Xin looks so handsome he is totally stealing my thunder!
I want to lose weigh fast so we are equally pretty haha.

Now it kinda feels more like we are really officially married... do you understand what I mean?

Let's be happy together forever.

From Berlin to Beijing

I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be in China for two weeks now!
My husband and me are taking the plane from Berlin to Beijing today. You probably know you can't use sites like Blogspot, Twitter or Facebook in China, so most likely you won't hear from me for a while. :(

I will only try to post on this site in German while I'm there: http://blog.sina.com.cn/juliazaizg

My husband and I are planning to celebrate our wedding a second time with his family in China on 31th December, which is also the day when we became a couple and, one year later, got engaged. So yeah, it's really nice to also get married on this special day. :)

Our wedding is also the reason why I went to the hair salon yesterday to get a new hair color.
If you follow my blog you might know that my hair first was really blonde and then I dyed it dark brown... but for my wedding pictures I wanted to have a nice light caramel shade.

So I decided to get my hair done and I'm really surprised how great it turned out!

It is really worth to spend more money on dying your hair instead of using many cheap drugstore products, which totally damaged my hair. -_- *lesson learned*

Ok I need to go now... we're driving to Berlin now to catch our plane at 19.45... see you in two weeks! I promise to make a blog post about China when I'm back! (○´∀`)
